Nikon Launch New Lens Distortion Update

Nikon have released new lens distortion control data for the D7000 and numerous other DSLRs.
The data is loaded to the D7000 via an update to the L firmware, and provides corrections for lens barrel and pincushion distortions.
The update takes the L firmware to 1.006. So if you have anything older, you should update this straight away. Check via; SETUP – Firmware version – L
Only Nikkor lenses are of course covered by this lens distortion control data.
